Lancashire has some terrific chair cover hire venues, and The Whitehall Hotel has plenty going for it. We arrived at the venue with the intention of styling white cotton chair covers and black sashes. By the end of the morning, we had created a truly stunning wedding aesthetic!
The Victorian manor house provides an idyllic setting for weddings, and the task of fitting chair covers was one we carried out with the utmost professionalism. From the outside, you can see why the hotel is such a popular wedding hire choice. Constructed in 1898, the sandstone building has the sort of timeless charm that will impress guests in attendance. We were particularly struck by the attention-to-detail that has gone into making the venue look superb.
In fact, this is exactly the sort of venue where chair covers look fantastic. The combination of period features and modern functionality is a winner. From the beautiful chandelier to the open fire place, there are plenty of furnishings that fight for your attention. With such a backdrop, it's little wonder so many couples hire chair covers for their ceremony here. When you book an event at The Whitehall Hotel, you can hardly go wrong!
With regards to styling the chair covers, we were eager to ensure the chairs were fitted with covers in an efficient fashion. Our dressing team rolled up their sleeves and got the job done with plenty of time left on the clock. The helpful staff allowed us to fit the chair covers without interruption. Meanwhile, the spacious dining areas provided lots of room in which to fit the chair covers and sashes. Black organza sashes create an air of sophistication, and the chair covers looked fantastic when draped in this material.
What's nice about The Whitehall Hotel is that it features a lovely landscaped garden, where we took a quick stroll afterwards. Whilst the hotel is approximately one mile from Darwen town centre, you get the impression of having arrived in a tranquil rural retreat. It's in this kind of setting where chair cover hire really comes into its own.
Also, the beautiful woodlands are an excellent spot for photographs. An oasis of calm, the hotel is exactly the sort of place where wedding stylists can let their imagination run wild. In this sense, it was a privilege to style chair covers at the venue.
If you're looking to host your family and friends at the hotel, you won't be disappointed. We're told that the bridal suite has a luxurious four-poster bed, which certainly adds to the Victorian feel. There is also a spa bath, which makes us jealous!
